Anywhere to search out those? The gem I assumed I had additionally had three hoses blocked via a golf tee, a pencil, and a drill bit. I know sometimes vacuum lines are not the most important, but the one with the drill bit from it is fairly large and is derived from beneath the carb.

The best vacuum diagram is the sticker beneath your hood. The vacuum device range even yr to yr, on occasion even truck to truck. That decal is the most accurate diagram you are going to find.

The vacuum gadget is generally set up in order that your traces duration and diameter handiest permit it to plug onto sure fittings. I might take a look at pulling your codes to look what systems are providing you with mistakes. That would provide you with an concept what parts to take a look at to peer if they're disconnected. It'll be one thing to paintings with until an image of one may also be found or upload by someone.

Ok, I've a diagram however I am clueless as to what many of the issues are. Having an issue (hope very much that the carb does not need anything) with the engine working a little bit tough at idle after riding just a little. (sounds like it is going to stall) The large hose that I'm really nervous about is on the base of the carb (facing the entrance of the truck). There is a large hose and a smaller hose. The massive hose is plugged with a drill bit.

My engine is EFI, so I'm do not recall as much in regards to the carb'd engines off the highest of my head. Post a percent of what you have got if you happen to get a chance, be sure to highlight the hoses providing you with issues. I'll take a seat down with the diagram you posted and move over it and see if I will be able to't lend a hand slim stuff down for you and define a few of it, possibly provide you with a few pics to take a look at. Tomorrow is the spouse's birthday, so it may well be a short while. Hopefully anyone on the board with a carb'd motor can offer some perception.

These are most likely obtrusive to maximum. Two hoses underneath the air filter pan. Have no thought where they should move.

The two on the air cleaner are perhaps a air temperature keep watch over valve for the EGR valve. One end would run from the a ported vacuum source (on carb just above the throttle plate) the other to the EGR valve. At least that’s what mine does. I don’t have the opposite hose you ask about. Can I ask where the massive hose that comes off the entrance of your carb goes? I believe this can be a vent for the bowel but mine is caped and I don’t understand distinction once I remove the cap.

The massive hose in FRONT of the carb appears to be like love it goes to the master cylinder.

Any thought about the huge hose UNDER the carb. That is what I've a feeling I want to work about most.

Sorry I'm really not certain. I have a 1983 f150 with a 302. I dont have that hose. The only large one on the base of mine comes off the again and is for the power breaks.

As I look at the picture it looks as whether it is manifold vacuum. If it is, it could be energy brakes, you might have vacuum controls for your warmth controls, (I do know some did). I don’t assume the large hose on top of the carb can be for the brake booster. In principle that will mean you best have “power” brakes when you're beneath throttle. At least that’s what I think, I may well be flawed.

The huge hose is in entrance of the carb, does not come from it. There is a man with an 84 Bronco with a 351 on craigslist. I'm contacting him to look if I can peek beneath the hood to see if I will be able to determine these things out. I'll keep you posted. I took a look at your pics. It looks like the hose coming of the T-fitting in the remaining image will have to path to the air choke tube. The large hose below your carb appears adore it'd most certainly connected on your vacuum port at the consumption manifold. I don't know about the ones two hoses at the backside of the air filter pan regardless that.
